What We Clean

Everything Outside Your Home,
Cleaned Right

We focus exclusively on residential properties, because taking care of one home at a time means we actually care about yours.

πŸ›£οΈ

Driveway & Sidewalk Cleaning

Oil stains, tire marks, algae, and years of grime removed from concrete and asphalt surfaces. It's the most visible part of your property, and often the most neglected.

🏑

House Exterior & Siding Wash

Mold, mildew, pollen, and oxidation removed from vinyl, fiber cement, brick, and painted wood siding. We match pressure and technique to your specific siding type. Never a one-size-fits-all blast.

πŸͺ΅

Deck & Patio Cleaning

Restore your outdoor living space. We safely clean wood decks, composite decking, and concrete or brick patios, removing algae, black staining, and weathered grime so you can actually enjoy your backyard again.

πŸ—οΈ

Fence Cleaning

Wood, vinyl, and chain-link fences cleaned of mold, mildew, and green algae. A clean fence frames your entire property in a way that makes a bigger visual impact than most people expect.

🧱

Concrete Surface Cleaning

Garage floors, retaining walls, pool surrounds, and basement window wells. If it's concrete and it's outside, we can make it look new again, safely and without damage to the underlying surface.

πŸ’§

Soft Washing

Some surfaces need a gentler touch. Low-pressure water combined with eco-safe solutions kills and removes mold, algae, and mildew without damage risk. Ideal for painted surfaces, soffits, and more delicate materials.

🌊

Gutter Exterior Cleaning

We clean the exterior face of gutters on single-story homes, removing the black "tiger stripe" streaks caused by oxidation and roof runoff. Please note: this service is available for single-story homes only, and covers the outside of gutters only, not interior gutter clearing.

Not sure if we can help? Just ask. We'll tell you straight.

Why St. Charles Pressure Washing

Most Companies Will Spray Anything You Point Them At.

We won't. And that's the point.

When you book with St. Charles Pressure Washing, you're dealing directly with the owner. A Kane County local who knows that your home is your most valuable asset, not just another ticket number. Most residential surfaces clean up beautifully with water and pressure alone. No chemicals needed. Our Site Survey Policy

We Protect Your Property.
Even From Ourselves.

Before any water touches any surface, we conduct a thorough free on-site survey. This isn't a formality. It's how we make sure your home looks better after we leave, not worse.

Pressure washing is powerful. In the wrong hands, or on the wrong materials, it causes real and expensive damage. Sandstone, for example, can literally disintegrate under high-pressure water. Weathered mortar between bricks can be blasted away. Older painted wood can splinter and crack. Some surfaces that look like they need a clean actually need to be treated with entirely different methods.

St. Charles Pressure Washing reserves the right to decline any job where, in our professional judgment, proceeding could damage the material being cleaned. If that's the situation, we'll explain our reasoning honestly and point you toward the right alternative if one exists. No charge for the visit, ever.

⚠️

Materials We May Decline to Clean

  • β€’Sandstone and soft natural stone
  • β€’Deteriorating, crumbling, or old mortar
  • β€’Weathered, splintering, or structurally compromised wood
  • β€’Surfaces with old or suspected lead paint
  • β€’Asphalt shingles and roof surfaces
  • β€’Electrical panels, meters, or outdoor fixtures
  • β€’Any surface we judge carries a realistic damage risk

"We'd rather lose the job than damage your home. That's not a policy. It's just who we are."

Common Questions

Frequently Asked Questions

Yes, always. Every quote starts with a free on-site inspection. We walk your property, assess what needs doing, and give you a clear number before any work is scheduled. If you decide not to book, that's fine. No invoice, no follow-up pressure, no hard feelings.
We ask that you're home when we arrive so we can walk the property together and make sure we're on the same page. After that, you're free to go about your day. Most jobs are done before you've had time to think about them.
Most of the time we clean with water and pressure alone. When a solution is needed, we use biodegradable, eco-safe formulas only. Once rinsed, they're safe for lawns, gardens, kids, and pets. If you have a specific plant bed or garden area you're protective of, point it out during the inspection and we'll work around it.
Pressure washing blasts grime off hard, durable surfaces like concrete and brick. Soft washing uses low pressure with a mild eco-safe solution to clean more delicate surfaces without damaging them. Most jobs call for one or the other. Some call for both. We sort that out during the site inspection so there are no surprises on the day.
A single driveway runs about 1 to 2 hours. A full exterior wash on a typical home takes 2 to 5 hours. We'll give you a time estimate when we provide your quote so you can plan your day and not be left waiting around.
Once a year covers most Kane County homes. Late spring is the sweet spot, after pollen season winds down. If your property has heavy shade or a lot of tree coverage, mold and algae tend to build up faster and twice-yearly cleaning may make sense. We'll give you an honest read on that during the inspection, not just tell you what sells more work.
Because some materials get damaged by pressure washing, and we'd rather find that out before we start than after. Sandstone can fall apart. Old mortar can be blasted loose. Certain painted surfaces will strip clean off. The inspection takes a few minutes and it protects your property. It also means your quote is accurate with no surprises on the day. There's never a charge for the visit.
Yes. We direct runoff away from planting beds wherever possible and use only eco-safe products when cleaning solutions are needed. Just point out anything you're protective of during the inspection and we'll note it and work around it. Your garden isn't collateral damage.
All of Kane County. St. Charles, Geneva, Batavia, Elgin, South Elgin, North Aurora, Campton Hills, Wayne, Algonquin, and surrounding towns. If you're not sure whether we cover your street, call 331-600-3881 and we'll confirm straight away.
It depends on what's being cleaned, but the preparation is minimal. If it's a driveway, vehicles need to be moved to the street or into the garage before we start. If it's a patio or porch, any furniture on the surface needs to be moved off it. Beyond that, common sense applies. Close any nearby windows and let us know about anything fragile or valuable near the work area. We'll also need access to a standard outdoor water hookup with a garden hose connection. We bring our own hose and equipment and just need to connect to your water supply. That's it. Most homeowners are surprised by how little is required on their end.
Life happens. We ask for 24 hours' notice when you can give it, but we're reasonable about it. Illinois weather moves our schedule around too, and when it does we'll contact you straight away to find a time that works. We don't leave people hanging.
